The first stone of the "Collège Technique Marius Moutel", current Lycée Technique since the law N° 122/AN-RM of August 18, 1961 was posed in 1947 like that of the Bridge of the Martyrs by the President of the French Republic Mr Vincent Auriol, on a part of the racecourse of horses which included the current ECICA, LBAD, IPEG, the old Modern College. The building work of the establishment was carried out by the S.F.E.D.T.P (French Company of Companies, Dredgings and Public works) in 1948-1949. The building was inaugurated on February 4, 1951

Union under the name of Lycée Technique in the presence of the high administrative
and school authorities of the AOF and French Sudan: Lycée Technique has the role: (Decree
N° 157/PGP of November 26, 1969 in its title I; article
